Plasma Fibroblast Skin Tightening is a minimally invasive procedure that produces exceptional tightening of the skin, and regeneration of collagen, without surgery. Sublimation of micro-columns of skin can be achieved using a plasma pen, with a disposable probe. Essentially, the skin is heated and vaporized which produces a tightening effect and stimulates fibroblasts within the dermal layer of the skin. This unique treatment produces amazing results without ever physically touching the pen to the skin’s surface. When the plasma pen tip is held close to the client’s skin, a plasma arc is created via electrical energy and the gases emitted from the skin; producing energy that targets deep within the skin’s tissues. It is this thermal energy source that produces the tightening effect. 

The Plasma Fibroblast Skin Tightening treatment is extremely effective in tightening the skin. This soft surgery procedure produces results that last nearly as long as traditional surgery, but without worrisome side effects and risks. Of course, the aging process is continual, so no aesthetic treatment produces permanent results. However, you can expect very good outcomes with this tightening treatment with results that should last for years! There will be a noticeable tightening immediately following this therapy, as the heat causes the connective fibers to shrink. Swelling and inflammation may exaggerate results, final results are seen at approximately 8 weeks after the skin tightening treatment. Just like traditional surgical enhancements, an additional treatment after 8 weeks may be needed for some to enhance results. Certain lifestyle factors, such as frequent exposure to the sun or tanning beds, heavy alcohol consumption and smoking, will temper results by increasing the look of aging in skin. Current skin laxity and how the individual responds to treatment will vary.

As part of our healing response, it is natural for the treated area to become swollen as the body rushes nutrients to the area. Most people find the healing process only lasts 3-5 days. In some cases, generally if clients do not follow pretreatment and post care instructions, the swelling and redness can last longer. DO NOT PICK the scabs as it can lead to infection, hyperpigmentation and scarring. It is important to keep this area clean with gentle cleansing.
